Days 3 and 4

So today and yesterday were all around pretty decent days, especially today. It started out as a looming day. But in the end, the day worked out to not be nearly half as bad as I had anticipated.
So, I think that commits to one good thing about my day.

I'm moisturizing as we speak, and about to do sit-ups.
Yesterdays total was 50. So granted I just took a shower, I'll probably do 50 again.

Homework this week has been a little lax. This weekend I plan on making some que-card notes for two of my classes. I feel that those will be extremely helpful.

The laughing continues. On a side note, I always enjoy making people laugh. It is completely carefree when a person genuinely lets a good "haha" go. If I could, I would go on making people laugh for the rest of my life. Alas, I'm just not that funny.

Tomorrow night I am going out. I'm hoping that it is not a shit-show, well, because I'm not allowed to... on account of my 101 things list. It should be interesting. I feel that it will be a good ol' time.

Sayonara!

Jour Deux

Today was the second day of my tasks competition.
To keep this one short, I'll just update quickly.
I've begun my Everest task of completely all the books that I began reading with my first novel The Chrysalids. I enjoy it thoroughly.
I did 50 sit-ups today, I reckon I'll end up changing it to a more reasonable challenge. 30 seems a tad little.
I made quite a few people laugh today, so hats off to that.
I'm moisturizing every day. I feel that this is going to be a good one, my skin feels a little rough now, but I think I'll keep this one updated as often as possible. It is just such a ridiculous one to maintain that it seems necessary. So I deem it update-able.

A good thing that took place today was that I managed to not eat it hard today. It was so icy, I felt that I was going to bite the big one at any moment today.

I reckon that tomorrow I might begin my Post-It bit. I think I'll have to look remember some favourite lines though.

Oh also, I have failed to have a My Dictionary book as of yet. HOWEVER, I will purchase one this weekend and make up for it by finding two words per day for the next week.

Au revoir mon petite chou.

Day 1.

So, today marked the beginning of my 101 things to do in 1001 days. It's going to be intense, however I think I will manage.

To christen this, I'll tend to the changes that I have made to my list.
I'll first address this sit-up mess that I created. I was discussing my list with my housemates and they managed to convince me that it will be rather difficult for me to do 100 sit-ups every day and then increase them every two weeks because, well lets be honest, it will be almost impossible for me to do like 6516516510 sit-ups on the very end of this business. BUT, I do believe that if I feel there could be a change, I will do so. But as for now, I'm going to stick with what I have changed.

5. Make someone laugh every day for 1001 days.
I managed to make many people laugh today. Such trickeries include my impersonation of Robin Thicke's performance on the Bachelor. It was top notch.
(1/1001)

11. Complete one hour of homework... blah blah.
I completed and re-read homework. A+ for moi.

18. Something good that happened today.
Today was an all around pretty decent day. I laughed, I sweated as I walked to the bus stop. It was just a good day in general. BUT, to stick to my list, one good thing that stuck out in my mind was understanding all of my lectures today. I was extremely proud of being able to get through the lectures without any "huh?" moments. I'll try to aim for that more often.

So that is my update for today. Most of the simple "things" I'll refrain from posting about all of the time. Such like my peanut butter detox. That is just an ongoing process which has begun, cold turkey, for the rest of my career. Wish me luck. I'm off to wash my face and do my sit-ups.
Adios amigos.

101 Things to accomplish in 1001 Days

The Mission:
Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.

The Criteria:
Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on my part).

Why 1001 Days?
Many people have created lists in the past - frequently simple goals such as New Year's resolutions. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organizing and timing some tasks such as overseas trips or outdoor activities.
